About Poppy Eco Hub
Daniel and Marie, the creative minds behind Poppy Eco Hub, didn't just stumble into sustainable and accessible web development, they sprinted towards it with purpose and passion. Both tech enthusiasts with a love for all things digital, they also harboured a deep concern for the environment and the millions of people being quietly excluded from digital spaces.
They realised that while the internet is a marvel, it's also quietly contributing to environmental damage, and that inaccessible websites are shutting out one in four people in the UK every single day.
This sparked a big idea: why not create websites that are as kind to the planet as they are to every single user? And of course, being green and inclusive shouldn't come at the expense of your business. The goal is to prove that you can have a site that works brilliantly for absolutely everyone, stays eco-friendly and doesn't break the bank.

Driven by their vision, Daniel and Marie launched Poppy Eco Hub to challenge the status quo and show that sustainability, accessibility and exceptional website performance aren't mutually exclusive. For them, it's not just about coding or design, it's about creating digital experiences that help businesses grow while caring for the planet and the people on it.

Marie's been working with WordPress since its early days in 2003, and she's proud to be the team's resident female tech geek! In 2015, she founded our sister company Poppy Design Studio, specialising in WordPress, branding and graphic design.
As an expert in WordPress with a strong focus on transparency, security and honesty, Marie brings all her skills to Poppy Eco Hub. Her extensive knowledge of the platform has earned her an outstanding reputation across the UK. Down-to-earth, warm and genuinely knowledgeable, she's the kind of person who will ring you rather than send an email. If it's WordPress related, Marie's the one to turn to!

Daniel has over 20 years of experience in software development, big data, analytics and management. A strategic thinker with an eye for detail, he's great at breaking down complex tech into simple terms, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

The Poppy Team
Our team's like a big family, one that really cares about our clients and is just as passionate about sustainability and accessibility as we are! With seven in-house web developers and designers, we handle everything ourselves. No outsourcing, no fuss. Just good ol' British craftsmanship, based in the heart of England in Northamptonshire.
You'll find us working away at Poppy Design Studio in Desborough or at our Eco Hub HQ in Northampton. Whether it's a cuppa face-to-face, a Zoom call, or a quick chat over email or phone, we're always up for a natter.
