What BCorp certification actually means
BCorp is not a membership, a pledge or a badge you apply for and receive in return for agreeing to a set of principles. It's an independent assessment carried out by B Lab, a global non-profit, against rigorous criteria covering environmental performance, social impact, governance, accountability and transparency.
The minimum to qualify is 80 points. Businesses below that don't qualify. Those that do must recertify every three years. We scored 98.1. That's not a minimum pass!
